Buying tickets to an English Premier League game

Folks, we will visit England in late November and I am looking to purchase tickets to the West Ham United - Manchester United game on December 5th.

I checked out West Ham official site but the tickets are not on sale yet, or maybe I am not looking at the right place ? I googled and there are tons of sites selling tickets to this game but I don't know how legit they are...

Can someone let me know how to go about getting these tickets? Should I have the tickets delivered to my residence here in Canada or should I buy them now and pick them up later at the ticket office?

I know the game is still 4+ months away but I just want to make sure I can grab some tickets without paying an arm and a leg.

Hi, You've chosen a pretty high profile game otherwise i would say wait until you get to England and then try and buy them a couple of weeks before the game.

This match will almost certainly be sold out. Basically the way it works is that all tix will be snapped up by season ticket holders for both clubs and then members of both clubs before going on sale to general public. I really doubt there will be any left by that point.

Of course a load of touts will also have their "avenues" for getting hold of tickets and these are probably the guys you are seeing adverts for on the net.

Ticketmaster also have an allocation for West Ham (i'm not a big fan) but at least they are legitimate and you won't get scammed by them. I would try giving them a ring to see what they say about this game.

Probably easier to pick them up from the box office on the day or beforehand rather than paying for the mail.
